Bi-injection

Bi-injection is commonly used to manufacture items made of two different thermoplastics, at the same time, on the same press and using the same mold.

Raw materials :

  • In principle, all thermoplastic polymers are compatible.

Where used: :

  • The large-scale or very large-scale manufacturing of goods in a broad range of sectors.
  • Most often, two components are assembled that are different but of similar type and with good chemical compatibility.
  • It can happen that a certain degree of incompatibility is desirable in order to easily separate the two components at a later date, as part of recycling f
